CrossFit a Definition ~

  • What is CrossFit?
    CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. The program is designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of the ten generally recognized fitness domains: Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance - The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen. Stamina - The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy. Strength - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force. Flexibility - the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint. Power - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimal time. Speed - The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement. Coordination - The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement. Agility - The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another. Balance - The ability to control the placement of the bodies center of gravity in relation to its support base. Accuracy - The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

    At CrossFit Corona we train everyone from stay-at-home moms to military personnel, from the recreational fitness fanatic to the professional athlete. As long as you come with the right desire, attitude and fortitude, we want to work with you. Whether you are new to fitness or are an elite athlete, our CrossFit training programs can get you to the next level!

      Coach K~ CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 Certified, KettleBell Certified, ECA Member, Certified NASM Member-Personal Trainer, USA Track and Field Member, and Sprint CoachCoach Leah ~ Level 1 Certified Coach Melissa ~ Crossfit Level I and Kids CrossFit Certified. Also trained and proficient in Olympic Lifting through CrossFit. She is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Coach Skip ~ Level 1 Certified Coach Cindy ~ Level 1 Certified Coach Jen ~ Level 1 and Kids Certified Coach Mike ~ Level 1 Certified and Mobility Certified Coach Julie ~ Level 1 Certified

    • Location: 9106 PULSAR COURT, SUITE G
    • Fees
      There are different fees for the variety of training that we offer, for an estimate on your monthly fee. Please call: (951) 277-7767 Gym and ask for Melissa.
    • Sports Specific Training
      Sports Specific Training, i.e. Volleyball, Football, Track, etc., is available, please email Coach K at crossfitcorona@aol.com to discuss what your specific needs are and to schedule a date and time.
    • Family CrossFit WOD
      Family CrossFit WODS ~ These WODS are currently being held on Mon. and Wed. evengings at 4:15 pm - 5:00 pm. The children ages 5-12 work out with their parents.
    • Schedule
      Group WODS (work out of the day) we currently run are; 5:30 am, 6:00 am, 6;30 and 9:30 am,10:00 am and 12:00 pm classes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Thursday we have a 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 10:00 am, and a 12:00 pm make up class. Evening classes are at 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, on Mon., Tues., and Wed. ONLY Saturday we have a group WOD at 8:30 am & 9 am. Sunday we are CLOSED
